So Much Food, For When You Have So Little Time – Three Freezer Friendly Meals

Coming home late, or just feeling too tired to cook can become a roadblock to losing weight and getting healthy. You can simplify your meals by cooking in bulk. Your slow cooker, baking dish, or large soup pot can be your new best friend. I always have something made and ready to be taken out of the freezer for those crazy fright nights. Start by making large batches of casseroles, chili, soups, or stews that you can store for easy meals made in minutes. All you need to do is come home, throw it the pot and cook on medium-low heat until it is fully thawed and heated through. If stored in small portions (see tip below), this will only take 10-15 minutes.


Freezing Tip: To freeze, store them in individual Ziploc bags or small containers. Only add one to two portions per bag or container. This way, you won’t have to thaw the entire container, which could take hours to thaw.
