An attitude of gratitude turns feelings of lack into feelings of abundance.
One of my daily morning rituals, even before I get out of bed, is to say three things that I’m grateful for. I don’t think about, or do anything else before I express gratitude. This simple act starts my day off from a place of abundance and ease, instead of stress and lack.
The thing about gratitude is that it helps to look at your life positively, seeing that even in difficult times, there are still many blessings to be thankful for.
Do you have air in your lungs? Thank you.
Are you able to stretch your body? Thank you.
Do you a bed under you that kept you warm throughout the night? Thank you.
Do you have a roof over your head, protecting you? Thank you.
Do you have a job to go to, even if you don’t like it, that pays the bills? Thank you.
Gratitude is a magic elixir reminding you that you may not have everything you want (yet), but you have everything you need.
Your Happiness Challenge, If You Choose To Accept
Starting today, before you get out of bed, list out three things you are grateful for. If you live with someone, or have children, get them involved as well. Start your day off from a place of abundance and ease.
Take it even further, and think of three more things before you go to bed.
Watch what happens to your mindset after doing this for one week. MAGIC!
