Busting Through Spiritual Fatigue

For Spiritual Fatigue Blog

Are you feeling spiritually fatigued?

Annoyed with everything and everyone

Emotional for no reason

Can’t be happy for others

Feeling unfulfilled

Heaviness in chest

Cloudy minded

Lack of focus or clarity

These are all signs that you are spiritually fatigued and need a soulful detox. Here is what I recommend you do….

Dream

Sometimes when we feel spiritually fatigued it is because we have been focusing 100% of our energy on other people and have stopped dreaming. When was the last time you sat down and set your goals, desires and dreams? When was the last time you did anything just for you? What’s great about dreams is that only you need to see them. Only you need to believe in them. They belong to you and you alone.

We all have dreams. Dreaming is one of the most beautiful things in life. The problem though is that so many of us get jaded and wrapped up by life – crazy schedules, negativity, and constant daily annoyances that we either stop dreaming or we don’t work at making our dreams come true because we believe that everything and everyone else is more important.

Do you ever just sit and imagine what your future will be like? I mean, really picture it until you can feel it, see it, smell and even almost grab it? I never stop dreaming about the life that I want, both right now, right here in the present, and in the future. It is that dreaming that keeps me motivated and inspired. It is those dreams that make me put one foot in front of the other and take the necessary action steps to make them come true. Let’s be honest, not everything I imagine up in this crazy brain of mine becomes fruition. But the things that I truly desire, I work hard to achieve. Why? Because I believe that I have the power to make it happen. As a little girl, I was told that I could be, and do anything. Somewhere along the way, that little girl stopped believing, but now she’s back on her pink cloud, riding her unicorn, and knows without a doubt that if she takes action, she can be and do anything she dreams up.

Dreaming is the first step to healing from spiritual fatigue. You can set goals and actions later, but if you don’t know what you want, how are you going to get there? Taking action can only happen if you truly know what you desire, so start dreaming, get your imagination revved up and let the magic happen.

Soulful Dreaming Exercise

First, sit in stillness and let yourself daydream about what you desire. What do you want? Not what you’ve been told to want, or think you should want, or have decided that you longer want but feel guilty. Deep in your gut without even giving yourself time to second-guess your answers, what is it that you want? Right now, money, time and resources are not an option. Just riff. Later on you will work towards making decisions and taking action. Right now, I just want you to write until you can’t write anymore.

If you are feeling stuck, fill in the blanks for each of these life areas:

For my career, I want….

For my health, I want….

For fun, I want….

For my personal and professional development, I want…

For my relationships, I want…

For financial abundance, I want…

For my spiritual well being, I want…

For my home, I want…

The universe is ready to give you a healthy, happy and positive life, so send out your dreams, desires and wishes.

Sending you oodles of positivity, happiness and joy,
