Dose of Positivity: Being Okay With Not Being Okay

This is a very personal perspective for me. I’ve been completely honest that November felt like a funky month for me. The moment I stopped being so hard on myself about how I was feeling, I actually started to feel better.

Giving ourselves permission to feel the way we want (need) to feel can have a massive impact on our lives. Instead of wearing a mask, pretending that everything is perfect, or getting down on ourselves for complaining because we have so much in our lives to be grateful for, we see it for what it is, just a funk – a bump in the road – a moment in time.

When we know what we don’t want, or how we don’t want to feel, we can become very clear about what we do want and how we do want to feel. 

Instead of trying to fix what’s wrong, shift your perception to adding little positive actions through out the day. What this does is trains your brain to be in solution mode, knowing that it will work out eventually, instead of obstacle mode, believing that this is it, or your done even trying.

Everything always works out for you. “Everything always works out for me.”
